The Municipality of Sermersooq is looking for a skilled and dedicated consultant who will primarily work with rehabilitation, job placements, work ability assessments, outreach guidance with accompanying information for Majoriaq Nuuk, which is rapidly developing according to applicable guidelines, so that the consultant can participate in the continuation of the ongoing development in the area.
The position is placed under the Municipality of Sermersooq's administration for Welfare and Labor Market, Majoriaq Nuuk, where the department head in job and guidance is the immediate supervisor.

Content of the position:
·Handle case processing and registration of job-seeking citizens
·Develop action plans and ensure ongoing follow-up on citizens' employment trajectories
·Provide guidance to unemployed citizens and plan, initiate, and follow up on employment-related initiatives
·Conduct matching grouping and follow up on clarification processes
·Carry out assessments, placements, and activation with a focus on citizens' work ability and development opportunities
·Organize business collaborations and plan and hold business cafés
·Draft consultation letters, party consultations, and decisions, including decisions on JYS-stop for up to 8 weeks and placement in match group 2 or match group 3
·Handle case processing in connection with PKU/PKO courses
Expectations:
·That you have education in the field, preferably with a social background
·That you have knowledge of the legislation in the social, education, and labor market areas
·That you are robust and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously
·That you have initiative and are inspiring to others
·That you meet people at eye level and with respect
·That you can participate in identifying wishes and needs in the labor market area
·Being bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement

Criminal record:
This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a criminal record. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/contract in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
