Qeqertarsuaq - Elderly Home is looking for a Kitchen Manager

The Elderly Home in Municipality Qeqertalik Qeqertarsuaq is looking for a kitchen manager for employment starting on November 1, 2026, or by agreement.

Job Responsibilities:

·Financial management for the orders placed under the kitchen

·Meal plans

·Dietary food and guidance on this

·Work plans for the kitchen

·Shift schedules for kitchen staff

·Order placements

·Food reception for new residents

·Guide kitchen staff

·Ensure optimal hygiene in the kitchen

·Weekend work every other week

Applicant Qualifications:

• Educated in the Food Industry
• Cooperative
• Loyal.
• Take responsibility
• Work purposefully with a sense of order
• Is positive

 Salary and Employment Conditions:

Salary and employment conditions will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland and the negotiating organization at the time of commencement.

There is no housing available

Criminal Record:

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a criminal record. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.
