Peqqissaanermik Ilinniarfik is looking for two kitchen staff to work as kitchen assistants. The positions involve catering for students and participants in a well-functioning kitchen. Emphasis is placed on personal and professional development. The application deadline is October 26, 2026.
The positions are desired to be filled on December 1, 2026, or after further agreement
The Health School is a Branch School for the basic health education and offers and conducts courses and other modular education.
We are a well-functioning workplace with about 25-28 employees. The kitchen operates according to the recommendations of the Nutrition Council, and the school has its own health policy and concept.
In daily operations, the kitchen prepares meals for about 100, depending on how many participants and students are at the school.
The workplace places great emphasis on opportunities for personal and professional development for the employees.

In collaboration with our cafeteria manager, oversee the daily catering for students, participants, instructors, and other staff based on the established dietary policy.

Qualifications:
Educated in the food sector with a desire and commitment to engage in joint problem-solving.
Stability, flexibility, and responsibility.
Economically and resource-conscious
Bilingual is an advantage (Greenlandic and Danish)
Weekly working hours: 40 hours.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
