Queen Ingrid's Hospital is looking for a healthcare assistant for the Patient Hotel department starting January 1, 2027. The position is full-time with day and evening shifts, and a good working environment and introduction to the specialty are offered. The application deadline is November 17, 2026.

Health Assistant for the Patient Hotel Department

Do you enjoy juggling many tasks and value a good working environment? Then the Patient Hotel Department is for you.

As of January 1, 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter, we are looking for a Health Assistant for a permanent position. The position can be adjusted to your needs.
Normal full-time position is 40 hours. The position will be with Day Shift from 07:30 – 15:30, evening shift from 13:00 – 21:00, and weekend work from 08:00 - 16:00, but no Night Shifts. We try to schedule your shifts based on your preferences (day shift/evening shift).

It is an advantage if you are familiar with various specialties – but it is not a requirement. We ensure a good introduction and are happy to share our knowledge with you.

  • It is a clear advantage if you have good IT skills, as we, among other things, register our patients in COSMIC.

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. Residence and work permits can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
