The club in Kangaatsiaq "Iluliarsuaq" is a leisure club for children and young people, and we are looking for a permanent monthly-paid position, with working hours of 40 hours a week starting from November 1, 2026, or by further agreement.

Main tasks:

·Ensure activities for children and young people, possible arrangement of transport.

·Exciting workplace.

·Collaboration with the club leader and club council.

·Collaboration in various areas within Timi Tarni's work areas.

Requirements for you / qualifications:

·It can be beneficial if you are educated in social pedagogy, or have experience in it

·You have experience working with young people.

·You can work during the day and at night.

·You can work well and maximally for children and young people.

·You should be able to keep up and can be innovative.

·You should be cooperative – and should be able to be a leader.

·You are fresh

·You should be stable and responsible

·You should be good at communicating and cooperative

·Training will be provided for the position

·You should be ready to collaborate with work areas in Timi Tarni

·You have an understanding of culture and people, when thinking about having many balls in the air

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between Naalakkersuisut and the negotiating organization at the time of commencement. There will not be any housing provided for the position, and there is a probation period of 3 months for the position.

Criminal and child certificate:

This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the child certificate from the national police, as well as the criminal certificate from the police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the police.
