Museum Leader for Qaqortoq Museum
Kujalleq Municipality is looking for an engaged and development-oriented museum leader for Qaqortoq Museum.
Are you passionate about the museum field, cultural heritage, and communication, and do you want to lead a museum with a strong local foundation, significant development potential, and many collaboration opportunities? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

About Qaqortoq Museum
Qaqortoq Museum is an approved museum that operates within the frameworks of the museum law and the archive law.
The museum's purpose is to contribute to the safeguarding of Greenlandic cultural heritage through registration, collection, preservation, exploration, and communication of the area's cultural historical development and Greenlandic natural history, cf. Inatsisartut Act No. 8 of June 3, 2015, on the museum sector.
The museum's building stock consists of five protected buildings. Of these, three are used for exhibitions, while the other facilities include offices, a school service room, and rooms for registration and storage.
In recent years, the museum has received an average of about 50 cruise ships annually, which gives the museum a significant contact surface with visitors from both Greenland and abroad and good opportunities to develop the museum's communication and collaboration with tourism actors.
