The position as an anesthesiologist nurse at Queen Ingrid's Hospital is available for occupancy from November 6, 2026, or by agreement.

The position is permanent, but shorter employment for e.g. 3, 6, or 12 months is of interest. The working hours are 40 hours/week + approx. 1-3 on-call shifts from home/week.

We are looking for you who:

• Has specialized training as an anesthesiologist nurse
• Has several years of seniority and preferably a broad nursing background
• Wants to participate in an open and equal interdisciplinary collaboration
• Can work very independently, as the anesthesiologist nurse has a central role in tasks related to acutely occurring illness, injury, cardiac arrest, respiratory-circulatory failure, pain management, and has first call to the emergency room, inpatient departments, and in disasters.
• Has a pragmatic attitude towards everyday life and can maintain calm in pressured situations
• Has a healthy and good sense of humor, as well as great patience
• Is passionate about making a difference, professionally and to promote nursing tasks

About us:

• OP and anesthesia have close collaboration
• In the anesthesia department, we have 12 anesthesiologist nurses employed
• Recovery and surgical day unit under the anesthesia department, has 4 basic nurses employed
• There is one permanent Chief Physician and three other anesthesiologists who come as substitutes.
• In the operating department, we have 14 nurses and four assistants in the sterile central
• We have engaged and competent colleagues who come from many different backgrounds
