Warehouse Manager

Our warehouseman is to be retired, therefore we are looking for a new warehouseman. Maybe you are the one we need?

Nukissiorfiit District Nuuk is looking for a warehouseman to start as soon as possible or by agreement.

The employee's main task is to have professional and general responsibility for the main warehouse and measurement warehouse in Nuuk as well as the storage space in Qinngorput.

The tasks will primarily include:

• Purchasing for the warehouse and projects as needed as well as receiving control of goods
• Delivery and issuing of goods
• Counting the warehouses in connection with status
• Arranging and cleaning the warehouses.
• Preparation of guidelines for handling the warehouses in collaboration with the nearest manager and the District Manager
• The professional responsibility for the warehouses in the Nuuk district and thereby support for all departments in the district.
• The responsibility for the inventory of meters for all of Greenland.
• Minor ad hoc tasks e.g. delivery/pickup of cars at the mechanic.

We are looking for a colleague who:

• Has a strong sense of order and is structured
• Has a flair for warehouse management
• Is service-oriented and cooperative
• Is independent and resourceful
• Has knowledge of IT at user level and has a driver's license for cars and preferably for trucks

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The position has a 3-month probation period.
