We are looking for a healthcare assistant for the Patient Hotel in Nuuk to start as soon as possible. The position is full-time with day and evening shifts as well as weekend work. You must be bilingual and have good collaboration skills. We offer a good working environment and an introduction to the specialty.

Health Assistant for the Patient Hotel in Nuuk

Do you enjoy juggling many tasks and appreciate a good working environment? –Then the Patient Hotel department is for you.

We are looking for a health assistant to start as soon as possible.

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.
The position will involve day shifts from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, evening shifts from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and weekend work from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (no night shifts).

We try to schedule your shifts based on your preferences. We prefer that you are bilingual – and proficient in both Greenlandic and Danish.

It is an advantage if you are familiar with various specialties – but it is not a requirement. We provide good introduction and are happy to share our knowledge with you.

About us:

Queen Ingrid's Hospital is the national hospital for Greenland and the regional hospital for the Sermersooq Region. The Patient Hotel at Queen Ingrid's Hospital has 99 beds. The Patient Hotel receives self-sufficient patients from all over Greenland who are admitted for outpatient examinations, childbirth, and/or day surgery. We also receive patients from all departments at DIH.

Housing

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
