The Municipality of Qeqertalik, Timi Tarni in Qeqertarsuaq is looking for a Sports Hall Manager with employment starting from October 1, 2026 or by further agreement.

The Sports Hall Manager's immediate supervisor will be the Leisure Manager in Timi Tarni.

We are looking for a person who can work independently, loyally, and who has good communication skills, as well as a person who is stable both professionally and mentally.

As a sports hall manager, you will among other things work with the following tasks:

·Responsible for thorough daily hygiene.

·Daily operation of the sports hall.

·Servicing and collaborating with users.

·Is inventive within the interplay of sports life in all respects.

·Co-responsible for keeping the body in motion year-round through activities for users as well as the city's citizens.

·You should be eager and innovative.

·Experience with office work.

·Preventive collaboration.

·Service-minded.

·You will have changing working hours, especially during activity events.

·One of the most important things that the Municipality of Qeqertalik Timi Tarni emphasizes is collaboration with and across associations, companies, citizens, and users.

Professional qualifications:

It is not a requirement that you have an education in sports, but it is an advantage. Experience working with people will also be an advantage.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between Naalakkersuisut and the negotiating organization at the time of commencement.

No staff housing can be assigned to the position.

Criminal and child certificate:

This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore emphasize that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received a child certificate from the National Police, as well as a criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.
