As our head nurse goes on maternity leave, we need to fill a temporary position as a coordinating nurse at Queen Ingrid's Health Center in Nuuk.

The position is available for filling from October 5, 2026, or by further agreement and is temporary for 6 months.

About the position

As a coordinating nurse, you will have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility in an exciting and varied everyday life at the Emergency Room.

You will play a central role in daily coordination, where you will help create an overview, prioritize tasks, coordinate patient pathways, and support your colleagues in their daily work.

The position is a good opportunity for you who already have experience with coordination, but also for you who dream of becoming a leader at some point and would like to take on some of the tasks and responsibilities that come with a coordinating function.

Previous leadership experience is not a requirement. The most important thing is that you are willing to take responsibility, develop both professionally and personally, and help create a good and well-functioning everyday life for both patients and colleagues.

About Queen Ingrid's Health Center

Queen Ingrid's Health Center in Nuuk provides primary health services for the city, including the two settlements of the district, Kapisillit and Qeqertarsuatsiaat, with a total population of approximately 19,000–20,000.

Queen Ingrid's Health Center is a modern health center that includes medical and nursing consultations as well as emergency room functions for all of Nuuk.

The emergency room is staffed around the clock, and you will therefore work in three-shift rotations.

You will have a challenging and exciting everyday life with many different patient pathways and tasks. No two days are the same, and you will have great opportunities for both personal and professional development.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Candidates who possess additional qualifications beyond those specified above, such as relevant diploma or master's levels, may be entitled to additional remuneration in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the company's guidelines.
