Your role

You will be the top leader for about 60 employees across Uummannaq, Upernavik, and Qaanaaq.

You will be at the intersection of:

• Operations and development
• Technology and management
• Strategy and execution

In short: You will be responsible for ensuring that everything works – every day.

Your responsibility

You will drive the district safely and forward by:

• Ensuring stable and future-proof supply
• Completing projects – on time, within budget, and with quality
• Prioritizing finances and projects based on strategic objectives
• Managing finances and investments with oversight
• Developing staff and achieving results through others
• Enhancing safety, work environment, and quality
• Ensuring optimal energy utilization
• Strengthening collaboration across the district and across Nukissiorfiit

Who are you

You are a leader who can create direction and frameworks – and make things happen.

You have:

• Technical expertise (engineer, technical manager, or similar)
• Experience from supply or technical operations
• Solid management experience
• Financial understanding and decisiveness

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

There is a 3-month probation period.

We offer unfurnished staff housing in accordance with applicable rules. If you already have staff housing through employment in the Government, the right to this will be retained.

Free travel for arrival and departure is provided in accordance with applicable rules.
