Social Worker at the Daycare "Inneriilat" for employment from October 1, 2026 or by agreement.
Daycare "Inneriilat" has a facility with 76 places for 0-3 year olds. There are a total of 20 employees. And the leader is included in the number.
There are 4 daycares in Qaqortoq. And there is good cooperation among the leaders. Furthermore, they appreciate helping each other when needed.
We expect you to:
- Be a qualified social worker
- Be friendly and motivating towards children
- Be attentive to the individual children's needs
- Be able to use Greenlandic and Danish, but it is not a requirement to speak Danish.
- Be honest and open
- Be proactive and able to take responsibility and have the will to develop children
- Be cooperative with users, colleagues, and children.
- As an employee, be open to development and be engaged and willing to share
- You should have a close collaboration with the educators
- Be stable and punctual
- Be willing to engage in pedagogical discussions about our work.
Child Certificate:
This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of a child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has obtained a child certificate.
The child certificate will be part of the municipality's assessment of who should be hired for the position
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland in Greenland.
