Then you might be the one we are looking for as a nurse for the Medical Outpatient Clinic at Queen Ingrid's Hospital in Nuuk.

The position is a shift-free day job with working hours from Monday to Friday and is desired to be filled by November 1, 2026, or by agreement. We prefer a permanent position, but if you have experience from working in a medical outpatient clinic, a longer-term temporary position of at least four months may also be an option.

The Medical Outpatient Clinic handles assessment, treatment, and follow-up of patients with a wide range of medical diseases. You will, among other things, meet patients within:

  • Heart diseases
  • Kidney diseases
  • Rheumatological diseases
  • Infectious medicine
  • Anticoagulation treatment

This provides an exciting and varied workday, where you continuously develop your skills across several medical specialties.

We are looking for you who:

  • Has broad experience within the medical specialty.
  • Is open and interested in interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Works independently and is passionate about creating good patient processes.
  • Is outgoing, receptive, and has a respectful approach to both colleagues and patients.
  • Has general IT skills – knowledge of Cosmic is an advantage, but not a requirement.

About us:

The Medical Outpatient Clinic is part of the Medical Area and also includes the Medical Day Ward with medical cancer treatment, the TB outpatient clinic, which handles assessment and treatment of patients with tuberculosis, as well as the Palliative Ward, which provides palliative care and support to patients with life-threatening illnesses.

The Medical Area also includes two inpatient wards with a total of 32 beds, including an integrated children's ward with eight beds. The area is led by a chief physician, a head nurse, and three nurse managers, who together work for high professional quality, development, and a good working environment.

Queen Ingrid's Hospital serves as the national hospital for all of Greenland and a regional hospital for the Sermersooq Region. Here you will encounter a professional environment and engaged colleagues in uniquely beautiful surroundings.

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. Residence and work permits can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
