HR Development is seeking a structured and digitally strong consultant or administrative officer for the administration and coordination of HR systems and apprentices. The position involves responsibility for recruitment systems, course administration, and the development of administrative processes in the Government of Greenland.
Consultant or Office Assistant for HR Development – systems, administration, and apprenticeship coordination
Are you structured, digitally strong, and good at making administration and systems work? Do you want to work with recruitment systems, coordination of courses, and apprentices across the Government of Greenland? Then you might be the one we are looking for.
HR Development (HRU) in the Department of the Chairperson is looking for a consultant or office assistant for our administrative department.
You will be a central part of the daily operations in HR Development with special responsibility for our administrative systems and processes. You will, among other things, work with the recruitment system Emply, course administration, F2, and coordination of the apprenticeship area.
We are looking for a colleague who thrives on structure and follow-up, can keep track of various administrative processes, and wants to help ensure that things fit together and work in everyday life.
HR systems and administration
A significant part of your work will be the administration and operation of HRU’s systems and digital tools. You will be responsible for the administration of Emply and will work with job postings, approval processes, user administration, support, error reporting, and quality assurance of data.
Courses, learning, and apprentices
You will have a central role in the administrative coordination of our course and learning activities. This includes, among other things, course administration, registrations, learning platforms, and practical coordination.
You will also be responsible for coordinating the apprenticeship area and will have contact with apprentices, workplaces, and relevant partners.
Coordination and shared administration
You will also help ensure structure and coherence in HRU’s other administrative work. This may include documentation and case administration in F2, handling shared mailboxes, administrative support for assessment committees, as well as coordination of educational activities, educational caravans, career fairs, and similar.
In addition, you will help develop and maintain guidelines and workflows and contribute to ensuring that our administrative processes are simple, uniform, and well-functioning.
Our systems and workflows are continuously evolving. Therefore, the most important thing is not that you know all the systems in advance, but that you are digitally strong, systematic, and can quickly familiarize yourself with new systems and processes.
We envision that you
You have an administrative education and preferably experience from a position where administration, systems, and coordination have been a significant part of your work.
The most important thing is that you are digitally strong, curious, and find it easy to familiarize yourself with new systems and workflows. It is a great advantage if you are familiar with the Government's internal processes.
We particularly emphasize that you:
- work in a structured manner, take responsibility, and follow your tasks through to completion
- have a good overview and can handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- are service-minded and communicate clearly and professionally with both colleagues and partners
- work independently, but at the same time thrive on collaborating and coordinating with others
- have an eye for how workflows and administrative processes can be made simpler and more efficient
Experience with HR administration, recruitment, course administration, or apprenticeship coordination is an advantage, but not a requirement.
It is a condition for employment that the candidate communicates fluently in Greenlandic and Danish.
