We are looking for specialists or doctors with clinical experience for temporary positions in Qeqertarsuaq. We are looking for specialists or doctors with greater clinical experience for on-call free temporary positions in Qeqertarsuaq, Disko Island.
Do you want to be part of the health team in Qeqertarsuaq? – You will be the closest colleague to three permanent nurses, assistants, helpers, etc. who provide health services for the city's approximately 850 residents on a daily basis.
If you have not been to Greenland before, we offer a few weeks of employment in Aasiaat as an introduction to the Greenlandic healthcare system.
You will become an important part of the Greenlandic healthcare system's health center in Qeqertarsuaq. Your task will be to collaborate with other staff to provide the best possible health professional service, including health educational efforts.
It is an advantage if you can perform ultrasound examinations.
There is an opportunity for "coastal rounds" on all weekdays. This means telemedicine patient reviews with specialists from DIH (Queen Ingrid's Hospital) in Nuuk, in all specialties.
The temporary positions are between 3-6 months, with the possibility of combining with employment in Aasiaat at the Regional Hospital, where there are 4-5 doctors. For example, introduction in Aasiaat for 1 – 2 months, including introduction to ultrasound examinations, and then a minimum of 2 months in Qeqertarsuaq.

- Working hours from 08:00 – 16:00, without shifts.

We are looking for you who:
- Are a general practitioner or have another background with greater clinical experience and Danish authorization.
- Are eager and willing to work independently in the Greenlandic culture.
- Have at least a couple of years of clinical experience and want to become part of Qeqertarsuaq Health Center.

Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Citizenship
If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
