We are looking for a Pharmacist, Nurse or Health Assistant with a primary function in the Pharmacy Dispensing in Sisimiut.

The position is a temporary contract until August 1, 2027, with a working time of 40 hours per week.
Work is from 08:00 - 16:00 on all weekdays. A weekend shift every 7-8 weeks in the regional hospital's inpatient department is to be expected if you have a background as a health assistant or nurse. The position may possibly be filled for a shorter temporary period of ½ year.

Your tasks will consist of dispensing to citizens who approach the Pharmacy with a prescription for medication. You will collaborate with other staff to ensure medication for the region.

You will, in collaboration with psychiatric and somatic home nursing, dose medication for the attached patients. Additionally, you will conduct medication reviews on their patients to promote medication safety and prevent polypharmacy. Your task is to advise and, in collaboration with the doctors, ensure that the recommendations for medication in the Greenlandic Health Service are followed.

Furthermore, you will perform regular counting of medication, expiration control, and control of medication accounts. The workflow regarding ordering medication will be managed by the pharmacist in Sisimiut. You will work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare personnel in your daily work.

Sisimiut Regional Hospital is part of the health region Qeqqa with the main towns of Sisimiut and Maniitsoq. There are about 75 employees in Sisimiut and about 55 employees in Maniitsoq. There are a total of 6 associated settlements.
