Paarsisoq is both a nursery and a kindergarten located on the road to the Radiofjeldet district.

Paarsisoq has space for 90 children, in the nursery there are three rooms each accommodating 12 children, in Paarsisoq the children's division in the rooms is as follows; in two rooms the youngest and middle-aged are combined, and in the third room children around 2 years old are trained for transition to kindergarten.

In the kindergarten there are three rooms each with 18 children, here the youngest and middle-aged are combined in two rooms, and one room is reserved for children who are about to start school.

Paarsisoq is located close to the city center, which was used as a kindergarten in 1969, but later an extension was added to the nursery.

The staffing norm is 22; leader, deputy, 4 department heads in pedagogical positions, 6 child/social helpers, 6 assistants, a cook, a kitchen assistant, and a cleaning assistant.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
