As an educational leader, you will be part of a school in development, where ambitions are high, decision-making paths are short, and where we believe that the best education is created when everyday life functions well. Therefore, we are looking for a leader who can create structure, coherence, and quality in daily operations while also contributing to the continued development of the programs.
The position is desired to be filled on October 1, 2026, or by agreement.
About Greenland Business School
Greenland Business School is an educational institution under the Government of Greenland, offering business-oriented and practice-based education at various levels.
Our programs are developed in close collaboration with businesses, organizations, and public workplaces, so that students acquire competencies that can be directly applied in Greenlandic practice.

Your role as an educational leader

You are the immediate supervisor for the teachers and are responsible for daily personnel management, prioritization of tasks, and follow-up on operations. Your most important task is to create the framework that enables teachers to succeed and provides students with a coherent educational journey of high quality.
You will be part of the school's management and collaborate closely with the head of education, the rest of the management team, and the study staff. At the same time, you contribute to the continued development of the programs in close collaboration with the head of education and the rest of the management team.
Your primary areas of responsibility
You will be responsible for, among other things:
the daily management and coordination of the higher education programs
planning of teaching, exams, and resource allocation
personnel management and daily sparring with the teachers
ensuring that study regulations, announcements, and internal procedures are followed
following up on evaluations, study environment, and quality work
collaboration with study staff, businesses, partners, and relevant authorities
translating decisions and strategic goals into a well-functioning daily practice
contributing to the development of programs and new educational offerings in collaboration with the head of education and the rest of the management team
We envision that you...
You have a relevant higher education and experience from the education sector, management, or an area where coordination, organization, and responsibility for people have been a significant part of your work.
We particularly emphasize that you:
are motivated by creating structure, coherence, and quality in daily operations
can prioritize, create direction, and make decisions in a day-to-day environment with many simultaneous tasks
thrive on planning, coordinating, and following up so that tasks are completed, and agreements are fulfilled
have experience with personnel management or other management with responsibility for people
work systematically and maintain an overview – even when everyday life is busy
have an understanding of higher education and the demands placed on quality, administration, and authority tasks
naturally collaborate across disciplines and contribute to a strong working environment
master both Greenlandic and Danish and can navigate confidently in a multilingual and multicultural work environment
We offer
We offer a versatile leadership position with significant influence on the daily operations of Greenland Business School's higher education programs.
You will be part of a school with high ambitions, engaged employees, and close collaboration with the Greenlandic labor market.
