Office Assistant for the Administration at Ilulissat Regional Hospital
Job Title
Are you good with numbers and enjoy working in Excel? Are you good at keeping an overview and working in a structured way? Then you are the one we are looking for. Ilulissat Regional Hospital is seeking an office assistant to perform a range of tasks that will help strengthen the administration. You will be part of a team that includes operations, finance, and secretarial tasks.

Report to the regional operations management in the Health Region Avannaa
Collaborative Relationships
You will work closely with the regional operations manager, the operations manager for Ilulissat, and the other staff in the administration, as well as the operations managers in the rest of Region Avannaa.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the regional operations management with coordinating, practical, and administrative tasks
- Assist with structure and overview of the administrative tasks
- Manage the shared email
- Assist with payroll, housing, and vacation registration
- Find solutions to challenges and ensure follow-up
- Assist with administrative tasks for the other towns in Region Avannaa when necessary
- Ad hoc tasks
Qualification and Competence Requirements
We are looking for an employee who is structured and good at maintaining an overview in a changing environment where no two days are alike.
You have an office education or another relevant education.
Additionally, the right candidate has the following qualities:
- The ability to work independently as well as collaborate with colleagues across disciplines
- Good IT skills or the ability to learn to use various IT solutions
- Familiar with working in Excel
- Organized and good at finding solutions
- A flexible approach to work will be an advantage
It is also an advantage if you can speak both Danish and Greenlandic.
It is important for Ilulissat Regional Hospital to ensure a good working environment in the organization, and it is expected that the candidate contributes to this.
Furthermore, it is important that the candidate can handle confidentiality. Experience working in a larger organization or a politically governed organization is a plus.

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.
Salary and Employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Citizenship
If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is contingent upon a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
