Assistant Chef for Integrated Daycare Institution Nuka in Sisimiut

With space for 52 children distributed in a nursery with space for 24 children aged 0-3 years, divided into two rooms. Kindergarten with space for 28 children aged 4 - 6 years.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for following the Inatsisartut Act No. 62 of November 20, 2023, on pedagogical developmental offers for preschool children, as well as working according to guidelines that can be found on Qeqqata Municipality's website regarding Qeqqata Municipality's political visions, children and youth policy, and pedagogical objectives.
• We will strive to create a daily routine where there is a balance between familiarity based on daily rhythm/time perception & unpredictability based on the children's influence on the institution's culture. Criminal and Child Certificate:

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore emphasize that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police, as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland and the Greenlandic Educators' Association (NPK) and SIK or another relevant negotiating organization.

Start date: by further agreement. Employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing:
There will be staff housing available for the position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities etc. are paid according to the applicable rules for rent payment in the Government of Greenland and the municipality's properties etc. in Greenland. If permanent staff housing cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, employees with the right to temporary housing will be offered a temporary housing, for which rent, utilities etc. are paid according to the above.

Relocation travel and moving costs are provided in accordance with applicable rules.
