Greenland Travel is looking for someone to lead our largest business area and, in collaboration with customers, partners, and colleagues, make Greenland Travel the natural first choice for business customers.

As the agency manager, you will be responsible for a team of over 20 experienced and dedicated employees based in our offices in Greenland and Denmark. Therefore, we are looking for you, who has experience in leading a larger team and who scores high on EQ.

As the agency manager for the business department, you will be part of Greenland Travel's management team, which, in addition to you, consists of the CEO, the head of leisure, the CFO, and the head of staff.

The position is based in Nuuk and reports directly to the CEO. You should expect a fair amount of travel activity primarily to Copenhagen, Sisimiut, and Ilulissat, where you have employees.

As the agency manager, you will have the primary responsibility for ensuring continued growth, development, and customer satisfaction in the business operations. You will have the freedom to shape your part of the organization so that it contributes to ensuring Greenland Travel's strategic goals. As part of the Management Team, strategic sparring, organizational development, and bridging across Greenland Travel and the Air Greenland group will be a significant part of your work.

Your responsibility

You will have overall responsibility for the business area of business travel, including:

·       Budget, result, and organizational responsibility for business travel in Greenland Travel

·       Development of existing customer relationships and identification of new ones

·       Follow-up on key figures, earnings, and performance

·       Formulate and participate in larger tenders and contract negotiations

·       Close collaboration with colleagues across the Air Greenland group and other partners

·       As a member of Greenland Travel's management team, ensure the execution of the company's strategic goals

·       Build competence and culture in the business department so that it becomes one of Greenland's best workplaces

Who are you?

We envision that you come from a leadership role with documented responsibility for both employees, finances, and results.

You likely have experience from a commercial company, a larger public organization, or an organization with many stakeholders and complex collaboration interfaces.

Additionally, we would like you to:

·       have experience in leading leaders or larger teams

·       have experience in driving a complex project or organizational change

·       have solid financial understanding and experience with budgets and result responsibility

·       be able to translate analyses and data into concrete strategic actions and project ownership

·       have experience with customer relationships, sales, business development, and/or tenders

·       have a strong cross-organizational collaboration ability

·       thrive in an environment with many stakeholders and different considerations

·       be a clear and credible leader who creates direction and engagement

Danish and English in writing and speaking are necessary prerequisites, as well as minimum Greenlandic speaking.
