The District Psychiatric Service Ikaarsaarfik is looking for home care nurses or health assistants to work with citizens in Nuuk with psychiatric diagnoses. The position requires professionalism, independence, and good relational skills. The application deadline is September 3, 2026.

We are a district psychiatric offer for citizens in Nuuk who have one or more psychiatric diagnoses. We work recovery-oriented, focusing on relationships and collaboration.
The district psychiatry is located in the psychiatric area at Queen Ingrid's Hospital in Nuuk.
The working hours are generally from 08:00 to 16:00 on weekdays, where you will participate in shifts in the A1 ward every 6th weekend.

Has experience from psychiatry
Preferably with further education in psychiatry
Is responsible, professional, and stable
Works independently and in teams
Can establish good relationships in collaboration with patients
Can maintain an overview in acute situations
A driver's license is an advantage but not a requirement

We collaborate interdisciplinary with the A1 ward, the municipality, and the Supervisory Department under Greenland's prisons

Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
