The Therapy Department at Queen Ingrid's Hospital is looking for an occupational therapist for a permanent position starting on October 1 or by agreement.

The position is 40 hours/week and includes both clinical and administrative tasks

Job responsibilities

As an occupational therapist in the department, you will:

• Conduct assessments, treatments, and follow-ups for hospitalized and outpatient patients
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other professional groups at the hospital
• Contribute to the development and quality assurance of workflows and treatment processes
• Participate in administrative tasks related to daily operations

• Are a licensed occupational therapist
• Work independently and in a structured manner
• Have good collaboration skills and a flexible approach to tasks

• Have knowledge of or interest in the Greenlandic healthcare system

It is an advantage, but not a requirement, that you speak Greenlandic.

About us:

Queen Ingrid's Hospital is the national hospital in Greenland. The hospital is equipped for approximately 191 beds distributed across surgical, medical, and intensive care departments as well as a patient hotel.

The Therapy Department consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, inventory managers, administrative staff, interpreters/assistants, receptionists, and chief therapists. We work closely together across professional groups and focus on quality, development, and a good working environment.

Housing

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic healthcare system at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. Residence and work permits can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
