Do you want to help ensure that patients meet the right health professionals with the right competencies at the right time?

The Greenlandic Health System is looking for a health professional trained development consultant for Team Shift Planning.

The team works with the implementation, configuration, and quality assurance of the shift and function planning system PDC across the entire health system, so that clinical operations are supported as best as possible.

Your tasks

You will among other things work with:

  • Mapping and documenting the health professional functions, competency requirements, and workflows of the departments as a basis for the configuration of the upcoming shift planning system.
  • Conducting needs assessment and dialogue visits in clinical departments to collect and quality assure data on functions, staff groups, and staffing needs, prior to system configuration.
  • Assessing how the configuration of functions and shift types in PDC affects patient safety, competency coverage, and clinical operations; and advising department management on this.
  • Ensuring that the clinical functions of the departments are correctly translated into structured function plans, based on a health professional understanding of the content and priority of the tasks.
  • Supporting the departments in managing sick leave, shift swaps, and suddenly arising staffing needs in the new system solution.

  • Contributing to cross-cutting development projects within the organization, staffing, and operation of the health system's clinical functions.

We envision that you

  • Have an authorized health professional education, e.g., nurse, radiographer, biomedical analyst, physiotherapist, or similar.
  • Have experience from the clinical health system and an understanding of patient-facing workflows.
  • Have strong analytical and digital skills, including experience working systematically with data and documentation.
  • Can translate complex health professional issues into practical solutions in a digital system.
  • Thrive in an advisory role with close collaboration across professional groups and organizational levels.
  • Are flexible and prepared for travel activities in Greenland.

We offer

A meaningful and developing job in an organization where shift and function planning is a central prerequisite for patient safety, quality, and good patient pathways.
