Campus Kujalleq in Qaqortoq is looking for an EUD/TNI education manager to lead the TNI vocational education programs. The EUD Education Manager is responsible for the school's TNI vocational education programs and manages the daily operations of approximately 10 teachers across various TNI programs.
Campus Kujalleq is a merger between Niuernermik Ilinniarfik Qaqortoq (the Business School in Qaqortoq) and Kujataani Ilinniarnertuunngorniarfik (GU-Qaqortoq). Campus Kujalleq has a total of about 40 instructors and approximately 30 other staff, and has around 300 annual students.
You will help create a large, well-functioning school with dynamics and development.

Overall responsibility
The Education Manager has the overall responsibility for planning, development, and operation of the TNI programs. This includes managing the educational activities, quality assurance, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the relevance and success of the education.
The TNI Education Manager reports to the school's Principal.
Job tasks
Leadership and planning
- Strategic leadership: Ensure that the TNI programs are developed and implemented in accordance with the school's strategy, values, and applicable legislation.
- Planning of educational activities: Develop annual plans, time/subject distribution, and teaching plans in collaboration with the instructors and coordinators.
- Coordination: Coordinate between the school's management, instructors, and external parties to ensure an effective and coherent educational process.
Quality assurance and development
- Quality assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of the education and ensure that the learning objectives are met.
- Professional development: Contribute to the development of the education's content, including adaptation to the labor market's needs within office and retail.
- Internship collaboration: Expand and maintain collaboration with internship sites to ensure relevant internships for the students.
Teaching and guidance
- Support for instructors: Ensure that instructors have the necessary resources and support to conduct teaching at a high professional level.
- Student guidance: Work closely with study advisors and student coaches to support students' well-being and academic progression.
Collaboration and networking
- External partners: Build and maintain collaboration with the business community, industry organizations, and authorities to ensure that the education meets current needs and requirements.
- Communication: Ensure effective communication between students, instructors, internship sites, and the school's other departments.
Administrative tasks
- Budget and resource responsibility: Ensure effective use and distribution of the education's budget and resources in collaboration with the school's management.
- Reporting: Prepare reports and evaluations on the education's status and results for the school's management and relevant authorities.
Salary and Employment Conditions
The position is currently classified/salaried equivalent to LR 36.
The salary with fixed salary components in LR 36 amounts to DKK 34,654.69 monthly + allowances DKK 15,636.58 = total DKK 50,291.27 and annually DKK 603,496.
Initially, employment will be on collective agreement terms. If the applicant is already a civil servant under the civil servant laws for the public Greenland, employment may occur under civil servant terms.
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and departure travel and moving expenses, according to the collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Civil servants in the state and employees under a number of AC agreements, including the agreement between Djøf and the Ministry of Finance, have the right to unpaid leave in connection with employment under the Government of Greenland. The Ministry of the Interior has also urged municipalities and regions to show consideration for applications for unpaid leave when employed under the Government of Greenland. The provisions on unpaid leave also apply to spouses/partners of individuals employed under the Government of Greenland.
The working hours are initially 40 hours weekly, and there is a commitment of availability of 320 annually and 80 quarterly, and the provisions for compensation for lost days off do not apply.
The position is an administrative position, and if sporadic teaching occurs, this is not compensated either in time or money.
Housing
Unfurnished staff housing may be allocated for the position according to the applicable rules at any time. Rent and deposit are paid according to the applicable rules for the allocated housing. The staff housing is tied to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
Rent and housing standards may vary depending on the age of the housing, ownership conditions, etc. There may be waiting time for the allocation of permanent staff housing, which is why temporary accommodation may occur, including in smaller co-housing or hotel apartments, for which taxation applies.
Free relocation and - after at least three years of employment - departure travel is provided according to applicable rules.
