Are you good at creating structure in digital information and making it easy for others to find what they need?
We are looking for a part-time employee who is motivated to work with websites, structure, content, and usability – and who thrives on making digital solutions work in practice. With us, your role will be important for expedition applicants to find correct information, and for our digital workflows to function clearly and efficiently.
About the position
The Expedition Office under the Department of Nature, Environment, Energy, and Research manages applications for expeditions and traffic in remote areas of Greenland. This includes, among other things, crossing the Ice Sheet and other tourist activities, cruises in the National Park in North and East Greenland, and research activities.
We are experiencing increasing activity and a need for clear information and well-functioning digital solutions. Therefore, we are looking for an employee who can support the work with our website and application portal.
The position primarily involves maintenance, structuring, and improvement of existing digital solutions, not programming or development from scratch.
You will be part of the daily operations, where you help ensure that information is updated, clear, and useful for both national and international applicants.
The position is approximately 10 hours per week.
Your tasks
You will work with IT-related, administrative, and communicative tasks, including:

- ensuring that links, documents, and forms work correctly
- improving usability and overview for applicants
- assisting with practical tasks in the application portal
- testing user flow and identifying errors or ambiguities
- setting up, proofreading, and quality assuring web content
- organizing digital files, templates, and guides
- contributing to ongoing improvements of digital workflows
- solving ad hoc tasks related to the website, IT, and digital administration
We are looking for you who
- works in a structured manner and has an eye for detail
- can make complex information more clear and user-friendly
- is familiar with websites as well as digital systems and documents
- can work independently and follow tasks through to completion
- is curious, solution-oriented, and not afraid to ask questions
- communicates clearly and precisely, both orally and in writing
Language requirements: Greenlandic, Danish, and good English skills.
Experience with CMS systems, websites, application portals, or digital administration is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Who can apply?
The position is relevant for several types of applicants:
- students in IT, communication, administration, or similar
- individuals looking to supplement other income
- employees nearing the end of their working life who wish to work fewer hours
- you who have experience with websites or digital administration and want a part-time role
The most important thing is that you are thorough, stable, and motivated to work with structure, content, and user-friendly digital solutions.
We offer:
- a part-time position of approximately 10 hours per week
- flexible working hours by agreement
- training in website, application portal, and workflows
- the opportunity to work on specific digital tasks in an authority
- an important role in improving usability and information
- a dedicated team with high professionalism and an informal tone
- a workplace focused on well-being, collaboration, and responsibility.
