Operations Manager for the Sisorarfiit Foundation and Nuuk's recreational winter and summer facilities

Do you want to lead the operation and development of the Sisorarfiit Foundation?

The Sisorarfiit Foundation is looking for an engaged and visible Operations Manager who can create results through people while driving the continued development of Nuuk's recreational winter and summer facilities.

As Operations Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the operation, employees, and development of the Sisorarfiit Foundation, including ski slopes, cross-country trails, ski lifts, artificial grass fields, and associated facilities.

Your main tasks

• Personnel management, motivation, and development of employees

• Ensure well-being, collaboration, job satisfaction, and a common direction in the organization

• Budget and financial responsibility as well as reporting to the board

• Responsible for safe and efficient operation of facilities and amenities

• Drive the strategic development of the Sisorarfiit Foundation and identify new opportunities

• Develop collaboration with associations, clubs, users, and other stakeholders

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in managing employees and teams

• Is a visible and present leader who creates motivation and engagement

• Is strong in relationships and collaboration

• Can translate ideas into action and create results

• Has an understanding of finance, planning, and operations

Experience in sports, leisure, tourism, or cultural areas is an advantage, but not a requirement.
