About the institution:

Sikkersoq is an integrated institution with 64 children distributed across 4 rooms, 24 nursery children, and 40 kindergarten children. The staffing is 3 employees for each room.
The institution is located in Nuussuaq close to Kangillinguup Atuarfia and in a quiet environment.
It is 40 weekly working hours with varying working hours. Sikkersoq is open during the day between 07:00 – 17:00.

The department currently consists of 14 employees: Leader, Deputy Leader, 3 educators, assistants, kitchen assistant, and a floater.

The position, which is a full-time position, reports to the Institution Leader in Sikkersoq.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

This position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the child certificate from the national police as well as the criminal certificate from the police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Employment will be subject to a 3-month probationary period.

Housing:

No staff housing can be provided for the position.
