Integrated Daycare Qivioq is looking for an educator

The Municipality of Sermersooq is looking for a skilled and committed educator for the integrated daycare "Qivioq" with immediate start or by agreement.

Integrated daycare "Qivioq" is a daycare for 0-6 year olds.

It is designed for 96 children. These are distributed in 6 rooms.

The staff in the room: one educator, one social worker, and one assistant.

In addition, there is a full-time kitchen helper, kitchen assistant, manager, and a support person in the kindergarten and nursery if needed.

The integrated daycare "Qivioq" is open between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, it is located on Samuel Kleinschmidts vej in the city.

The educator will be employed as a room educator in "Qivioq". He/she will be responsible for various plans. "According to the Inatsisartut Act No. 62 of November 20, 2023, on pedagogical developmental offers for children of preschool age, preparing plans and activities.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

The position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Greenland Self-Government, according to the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Greenland Self-Government and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be with a 3-month probation period.
