A bit about Timmiaaqqat:

We are an integrated institution, with 36 nursery children spread over 3 rooms, 64 kindergarten children spread over 4 rooms. Each room is associated with 1 educator, 1 child and social assistant, and 1 helper.
In addition, there is a kitchen assistant, helper, and cleaning lady.

We are an institution established in 1973, so we use our corridors for wardrobe and common areas.

∙That you can step in when the educator is not present

∙Be bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement

Criminal and Child Certificate:

The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and Employment Conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/contract applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing:

No staff housing can be provided for the position.
