The institution is designated for 4 0-5-year-old children.

The staffing ratio is 1.5, and if necessary, the staffing ratio increases to 2.

You have these qualifications:

• You are educated as a pedagogue or similar
• You are clear and can set boundaries if necessary
• That you can have conversations with parents about children's development
• That you are stable/engaged in your work
• That you are positive/fresh and welcoming
• That you can speak Greenlandic and Danish
• That you have knowledge of operating IT/computer
• That you can be attentive to new initiatives
• That you have a respectful pedagogical viewpoint
• That you can handle stressful situations
• That you are aware of children with special needs
• That you have experience working with children
• That you find collaboration important and are cooperative
• You are open to new initiatives, welcoming
• That you are familiar with applicable rules, policies, and laws
• You are stable with a respectful approach to work methods
• You must be able to follow up on status and develop competence for children
• You must be able to work constructively with parents
• Emphasis is placed on you possessing motivation and being able to work independently
• You must be interested in the development of the institution

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to free travel and relocation of personal belongings, are in accordance with the applicable agreements between Naalakkersuisut and NPK or SIK.

A staff housing may be assigned, for which rent is paid according to applicable rules.

Child certificate and criminal record:

Positions are covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a child certificate and criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has obtained a child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police.

Employment is subject to satisfactory child and criminal record, which is obtained by Qeqqata Kommunia.

Commencement on September 1, 2026, or by agreement.
