Inuunerissaavik Steno Diabetes Center Greenland is looking for an AC-Fullmægtig to support the daily center operations in collaboration with the Center Management
About the position:
As an AC-Fullmægtig at Inuunerissaavik Steno Diabetes Center Greenland (SDCG), you will become part of the center's staff, who together with the center management, have the task of ensuring that the center is operated and developed in accordance with the script and the funding agreement for SDCG. You will support and develop various core tasks within: Finance, HR, and daily operations, as well as assist with tasks related to the center's departments; treatment, research, cross-disciplinary collaboration, telemedicine quality, and competence development.
Depending on qualifications, you will be employed as an AC-Fullmægtig or Special Consultant.
It is important that you can collaborate with many different colleagues and professional groups, as you will come to know all areas of the center so that you are able to form a comprehensive overview of the center's activities. Your collaboration skills and holistic understanding are essential to support the center management in advancing the center as well as to assist in reporting to the board's quarterly meetings. The position requires versatility and a willingness to tackle a wide range of tasks.
The tasks consist of management support, financial planning and reporting, communication, planning and facilitating events, research support, development of new initiatives, etc., but also the opportunity to influence the content of the position, based on interest and qualifications. You do not need to have equal knowledge of all tasks, but it is important that you are open and curious to learn.
The position's tasks consist of:
- A permanent position (40 hours/week).
- Management support, financial planning, board preparation, communication, and development tasks.
- Opportunity to further develop the staff's work tasks in a dynamic organization.
- Competence development of employees.
- Interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration.
We are looking for you who:
- Has a relevant education in economics and resource management – e.g., Professional Bachelor's in Public Administration, or another relevant education.
- Is very structured, has a flair for planning far ahead, and possesses a great overview
- Has political and economic understanding, as you will be responsible for ongoing budget updates and quarterly reports
- Has in-depth knowledge of management support and HR.
- Finds it exciting to get to know the center's many areas
- Is adaptable in task solving
- Works independently but is also good at orienting or being proactive with possible solutions to a situation
- Has a flair for communication, both written and oral.
- Thrives in an interdisciplinary environment
- Has knowledge of Greenland and the Greenlandic healthcare system
- Masters Greenlandic and Danish (not a requirement).
- Is a good colleague
About Steno Diabetes Center Greenland
Steno Diabetes Center Greenland (SDCG) opened on July 1, 2020, as an integrated part of the healthcare system in Greenland and is jointly funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation and the Government of Greenland. The center works to strengthen prevention, treatment, and quality of life for people with diabetes across the country, as well as for individuals with selected lifestyle-related diseases such as high blood pressure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. SDCG focuses on patient education, preventive measures, treatment, research and development projects, as well as cross-disciplinary collaboration with regions, health centers, and national actors. Additionally, work is being done on telemedicine, competence development, and capacity building in the healthcare system to ensure high quality in the efforts.

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic healthcare system at any given time.
Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Citizenship
If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
