Then you might be the one we are looking for as a nurse at the Medical Outpatient Clinic at Queen Ingrid's Hospital. Here you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic team collaboration. It is a non-shift position with working hours during the daytime from Monday to Friday. The position is available for occupancy from September 1, 2026, or by agreement.

We prefer a permanent employment, but a longer-term temporary position of at least 4 months can be considered if you have relevant experience from employment in an outpatient clinic.

 Under the medical specialty, a wide range of medical diseases falls, so at the Medical Outpatient Clinic, we examine and treat, among others, heart patients, kidney patients, arthritis patients, infectious disease patients, patients in anticoagulation treatment.

• Has broad experience within the medical specialty.

• IT at user level, preferably knowledge of our electronic patient record Cosmic.

About us:

You will be part of the Medical Outpatient Clinic, which also includes the Medical Day Ward that performs medical cancer treatment, the TB outpatient clinic, which detects and treats tuberculosis patients, as well as the Palliative Ward, which offers relief and support to patients with life-threatening diseases.

The Medical Area also includes two inpatient wards with a total of 32 beds, including an integrated children's ward with eight beds. The area is led by a chief physician, a head nurse, and 3 nurse managers, all contributing to ensuring a high professional standard and a developing work environment.

Queen Ingrid's Hospital serves as the national hospital for all of Greenland and a regional hospital for the Sermersooq Region. Here you will encounter a professional environment and engaged colleagues in uniquely beautiful surroundings.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. Residence and work permits can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
