We are looking for a health assistant who can come to Narsaq by September 1, 2026.

Narsaq is located in South Greenland with 3 associated villages. The population is about 1500, including the 2 surrounding villages.

The health center's tasks primarily consist of consultations for the city's and its villages' citizens. However, there is also a ward with 13 beds with a mixed patient clientele.

As a health assistant, you will need to work very diversely with both outpatient/emergency room inquiries as well as with the admitted patients in collaboration with the other staff.

At the health center, there is one doctor, the department nurse, 3 nurses, 1 health care assistant, 5 health assistants, as well as 4 unskilled workers and 2 porters.

Desired qualifications:

• Has experience from emergency room work and is aware of their own area of competence
• Is willing to be trained in e.g. blood sampling/x-ray
• At least a couple of years of experience

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic health service at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and departure travel and moving of personal belongings, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
