We are looking for two full-time employees for the Management Secretariat in Nuuk. The position involves coordinating the department's cases, quality assurance of texts, and development of IT systems. You must have a higher education and be proficient in Greenlandic, Danish, and English.

About the position
The Management Secretariat is one of 4 departments in the ministry, which handles departmental tasks in the areas of housing, client role, building authority, infrastructure, outer districts, and emergency preparedness. The department has about 45 employees. The Management Secretariat consists of 8 employees and functions as a staff function.
The department's tasks include, among other things, coordination and processing of inquiries to the department and to the Minister, handling of cases to and from the Government and the Parliament, mail, hearings, translations, quality assurance, archiving, as well as project management and development tasks. Additionally, it includes planning and executing workshops, presentations, and peer training on internal instructions, guidelines, work procedures, and manuals, for example regarding case processing, procurement, service, other internal activities, etc. The department is also responsible for the operation, coordination, and further development of the department's central IT systems and digital workflows, including user support, system administration, and implementation of new digital solutions.
We are looking for two full-time employees who – in collaboration with the department's staff and the department's management – will contribute to the maintenance of a central function in coordinating the department's cases as well as servicing the Minister. The position involves close collaboration with other employees in the department and across departments in the ministry.
You will be an indispensable colleague in the team, and your tasks will be organized based on the skills, experiences, and interests you bring with you. It is therefore not expected that each employee will handle all described tasks; the tasks will be distributed among four full-time employees to ensure an appropriate and balanced division of labor.
We expect that you have most of the following qualifications and competencies:
- That you have a higher education.
- That you are good at communicating both orally and in writing.
- That you master Greenlandic and Danish at a high level in both writing and speech, and English at least at conversational level.
- That you are good at coordinating and working independently.
- That you demonstrate flexibility, even in pressured situations.
- That you are quick to learn, but can also try things out and learn on your own.
- That you are approachable and have good collaboration skills.
- That you have knowledge of Greenlandic culture and society.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Government, the right to assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
