The Bureau of Inatsisartut is seeking a department head for the HR and Administration Department. The position involves managing employees, recruitment, personnel administration, and the development of personnel policies. The bureau is looking for a department head for the bureau's HR and Administration Department.
The department head will be part of the management group reporting to the director.
About the position
The HR and Administration Department has a broad contact interface with the entire organization and will be in contact with many different actors daily. You will be the leader for the employees from the Service Department.
The department head will, among other things, solve the following tasks across the organization:
Contribute to the processes of recruitment in the various units
Contribute to general personnel administration, housing conditions for employees and members, as well as personnel legal case processing
Contribute to negotiations with personnel organizations
Contribute to the preparation of payroll production, salary budgets, and pensions
Contribute to personnel and management development, including planning and offering courses and further education
Production of management information, development and updating of personnel policy, and general advice to managers and employees on personnel matters
Ensure the further development of the bureau's documentation and archiving
Ensure ongoing development of services for the staff and members of Inatsisartut
Responsible for APV processes, employee surveys, personnel care, and tasks related to employee well-being and working environment
Your profile
You have a relevant academic education and solid expertise in the HR field.
The Bureau for Inatsisartut is an independent collective agreement area, and as HR manager, you will need to take the lead when negotiating with personnel organizations. Therefore, insight into collective agreements and contracts will be of great importance.
You have experience with management tasks in a politically governed organization and with handling management tasks with a significant 'task span'.
You have a good strategic and organizational understanding and are focused on how the organization, work processes, and employees can be developed in accordance with strategies and action plans.

Ability to handle organizational and interpersonal conflicts in a professional and competent manner

About us
The Bureau for Inatsisartut is the administration of Greenland's parliament. We organize the parliament's 2 annual ordinary sessions, and we serve the parliament's 31 members and its committees. We currently have about 30 employees, including 10 academic committee secretaries.

Possibility of leave from another public employment
Are you a civil servant or employed in a Danish municipality? Civil servants in the state and employees under a number of AC agreements have the right to unpaid leave in connection with employment under the Greenland Self-Government.
Housing can be provided for the position, for which payment is made according to applicable rules. However, due to the housing situation in Nuuk, a shorter period of accommodation in a temporary vacant housing may be expected before permanent housing can be provided. There is a right to relocation travel and moving expenses according to the applicable agreement.
Information about salary and employment conditions
Employment in the position is as department head according to the chief agreement between Naalakkersuisut and the academic organizations, as well as the Agreement on Membership between the Presidency of Inatsisartut and Djøf.
