With space for 64 children distributed in a nursery with room for 24 children aged 0-3 years, divided into two rooms. Kindergarten with space for 40 children aged 4-6 years.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for following the Inatsisartut Act No. 62 of November 20, 2023, on pedagogical developmental offerings for preschool children, as well as working based on guidelines that can be found on the Qeqqata Municipality website regarding Qeqqata Municipality's political visions, children and youth policy, and pedagogical objectives.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police, as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between Naalakkersuisut and Nunatsinni Perorsaasut Kattuffiat (NPK) and SIK or another relevant negotiating organization.

Start date: by further agreement.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing: Staff housing can be provided for Deputy Head, Department Head, and Educator but not for Social Helper, for which a deposit and rent, utilities etc. are paid according to the applicable rules for rent payment in Greenland's Self-Government and the municipality's properties etc. in Greenland. If permanent staff housing cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, temporary staff housing will be offered to employees entitled to vacant housing, for which rent, utilities etc. are paid in accordance with the above.

Relocation travel and moving expenses are provided in accordance with applicable rules.
