About Ippiarsuk:
Ippiarsuk is a Care and Activity Center, consisting of 3 departments and a day center/activity center.
Tikitaq a screened unit for the demented accommodates 10 residents, 2 care departments, Arriitsut accommodates 12 residents, Kammiut accommodates 10 residents.
At Ippiarsuk, we have between 65-70 employees distributed across resident departments, kitchen, caretaker, caretaker assistant, driver, laundry, cleaning, and office/administration.
The position is a full-time role where the nurse works closely with the manager as well as with the staff in the care departments.
The content of the position:
We are looking for a nurse who can engage in work with and about our residents, where the focus is on good, caring care, but not least on dignity for our residents. Medication, caring care, mobilization, activation, relatives, and interdisciplinary collaboration are some of our most important tasks.
We have truly fantastic facilities and collaborate with the best colleagues.
We are in the process of development and renewal, after the municipality in 2017 adopted a new sector plan consisting of 9 areas of action for the benefit of our elderly and residents.

Criminal record:
This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a criminal record. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
