About Ajarsivasik

Ajarsivasik is a new home for the elderly and those in need of care, with 48 rooms divided into three sections.

• Department of Public Works
• Department of Social Affairs
• Department for the disabled

You are responsible for the overall management of the community center, including the three managers of the employee groups, along with the responsibility for the well-functioning café managed by the café manager. In your role as a leader, you will focus on ensuring quality, well-being, and development - considering the residents, their relatives, and the employees.

The most important tasks

• You must ensure that the management of Ajarsivasiup is conducted well and in an orderly manner.
• You will manage employees with different skills, encouraging and developing their work.
• You should develop the care for the elderly and the sick.
• You must ensure that political decisions and financial allocations are handled correctly.
• You will closely collaborate with other managers in the community and health coordination in the homes.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications.

• Trained as a nurse
• An experienced professional in providing services to the elderly and disabled.
• Expert knowledge related to the issue of Puigortunngornermut.
• A qualified professional with experience in working with the elderly and the ability to collaborate for empowerment and cooperation.
• Capable of thinking innovatively, developing, and adapting.
• A knowledgeable and well-managed approach to governance.
• The policy has been submitted for decision-making and the municipality's priorities.

• The new and well-conducted educational institutions are staffed with dedicated professionals.
• The conditions in the workplace are responsible for providing freedom and space for further development.
• Collaboration with other local authorities regarding community services.

The resources for recruitment and employment.

The agreement will be valid according to the existing terms. Accommodation can be provided according to the existing regulations, with costs to be covered by the individual according to the existing regulations. Travel and relocation expenses will be reimbursed by the municipality according to the applicable rules.

The agreements regarding the use of resources in the sea and on land in Greenland will be placed in accordance with the current agreements between the Government of Greenland and the relevant association that has the right to negotiate.

Accommodation may be provided in connection with the employment, subject to the requirement that the rent is to be paid in accordance with applicable regulations, just like in the case of employment - and at least three years after leaving the job, the costs related to travel and transportation of belongings will be reimbursed in accordance with applicable regulations.
