Kuserneq is a residential and treatment offer for vulnerable families, where we work holistically with parenting skills, attachment, structure, and the personal development of both the child and the parents.

DO YOU WANT TO HELP CREATE DEVELOPMENT AND STABLE LIVING CONDITIONS FOR VULNERABLE FAMILIES WITH INFANTS AND SMALL CHILDREN?

Kuserneq is a housing and treatment offer for vulnerable families with infants and small children, where we work holistically on parental skills, attachment, structure, as well as the personal development of the child and the parents.

We know that change takes time and that development can only occur in relationships characterized by presence, clarity, and professionalism. We work development-oriented and resource-focused. This means that we both set demands and establish frameworks, while also focusing on recognizing the family's strengths and resources.

Our vision is to create stable and development-promoting frameworks for families, so that children have a different start in life than the one their parents may have had.

The team consists of a department head, a treatment advisor/deputy head, child and adult family counselors, and a psychotherapist.

We are a small, professionally engaged team where we work closely together and prioritize sparring, shared reflection, and clear roles. We believe that we succeed best when we support each other and actively use each other's strengths, viewing learning as an ongoing process.
