Royal Greenland A/S is seeking an Electrician for Sisimiut.

Royal Greenland A/S Sisimiut is looking for an electrician.

You will work in a team with the employees in the technical department. Together, you will ensure that the technology, buildings, vehicles, and boats at the Sisimiut factory are operated optimally and safely at all times.

The factory operates on a 2-shift schedule during the peak season, which means that varying working hours can be expected. Additionally, some business travel days can be anticipated throughout the year.

You will report to the Technical Manager.

In your new job as an electrician, you will among other things have the following tasks:

• Professional operation and maintenance of machines and electrical installations in the factory
• Installation of new machines in the factory
• Miscellaneous tasks in the factory
• Call-out – duty
• Maintenance of fire alarm systems
• Maintenance of electric motors and technical installations according to applicable standards
• Updating of PLC programs as well as updating of documentation and backups according to applicable corporate standards.
• Glass control according to HACCP schedule SKT09QAS
• Inventory and servicing of scales

• You are trained as an electrician and have a craft background as an electrician.
• Service-minded, outgoing, and flexible
• Can maintain an overview in pressured situations
• Can work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Positive nature with a flair for teamwork and customer service
• Willing to pass on knowledge to colleagues
• Greenlandic and Danish in speech and writing is an advantage.
