Welder

Royal Greenland A/S is seeking a skilled and versatile Welder for the factory in Nuuk. You will work alongside 2 skilled colleagues in the technical department to ensure optimal operation of technology and buildings. Tasks include maintenance of production equipment and buildings, as well as inspections and ad hoc tasks.

Royal Greenland A/S is looking for a skilled and versatile Blacksmith for the factory in Nuuk.

You will work together with 2 skilled employees in the technical department. Together, you will ensure that the technology and buildings, as well as vehicles and boats in Nuuk and the associated settlements, are operated optimally and safely at all times.

You will report to the technical manager in Nuuk.

There will be a number of travel days expected in connection with your work.

In your new job as a blacksmith, you will have the following tasks, among others:

  • To help ensure that the factory's buildings, production equipment, and rolling stock are in a condition that ensures optimal production throughout the entire process.
  • To work based on developed maintenance plans for buildings and production equipment.
  • To contribute to the maintenance of the workshop's relevant manuals and instructions.
  • Deviations from quality standards are to be communicated immediately to the factory's technical manager.
  • That inspections of the technical condition/maintenance at the factory are conducted regularly, and any deviations are pointed out to the technical manager and the quality manager, and corrective actions are taken.
  • To contribute to the systematic cleaning/cleanup of all technical department premises in accordance with the factory's quality standards.
  • Ad hoc tasks

You are trained as a blacksmith, machinist, mechanic, or have a similar technical background, and thus you have a solid craftsmanship background in your field.
