Then the position as an inspector at the Danish Working Environment Authority's district office in Nuuk might be for you. We are looking for one or more inspectors.
Help move the working environment in the right direction.
As a supervisor, you will oversee the working environment in private and public companies and workplaces, and you must be able to address a wide range of issues within the working environment, including accidents, ergonomics, chemistry, noise, and psychological working conditions. You will have a meaningful, responsible, and challenging job, where the workdays are characterized by a high degree of variation in task types and content. At the same time, you will become part of a professionally strong team of engaged colleagues. The work is very independent and involves a fair amount of travel activity in Greenland.
As a supervisor, you must among other things:
supervise private and public companies, workplaces, and construction sites
prepare supervision, for example by examining the companies' profiles and history
post-processing supervision in the form of administrative tasks such as reporting visits and writing orders
prepare and hold presentations at companies, organizations, and similar.
As a supervisor, you also teach on the work environment education program. The task involves teaching future and current work environment representatives and leaders. Therefore, you should expect to be trained and educated to teach in the program.
At the beginning of your employment, we ensure that you receive an intensive basic training program in working environment.
We are a total of six employees and a district manager at the district office in Nuuk. One of our colleagues lives in Sisimiut. You will report to the district manager.

We imagine that you:
speaks and writes Danish, as the official language is Danish. It is an advantage if you also speak and write Greenlandic.
either has a technical background (e.g. engineer, marine engineer, construction designer) or is a psychologist, therapist, or has a similar background
is interested in interdisciplinary workplace environment issues such as accident prevention or prevention of ergonomic, psychological, and chemical workplace environment problems.
can work very structured and independently and at the same time is a pronounced team player
has good skills in IT
has experience with or interest in and skills in teaching and communication
can act authoritatively and dialog-oriented
Salary and employment conditions
The position is a permanent full-time position of 40 hours per week. We would like you to start on June 1, 2026.
You will be employed as a supervisor according to the applicable collective agreement.
Housing can be provided in Nuuk for the position, for which payment is made according to applicable regulations.
The district office is organizationally part of the Supervisory Center East in Copenhagen, which is why some travel activity to Denmark will be required at times.
