Educators for Integrated Daycare Kuunnguaq

General information about Kuunnguaq:

This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week. The facility accommodates 88 children, divided into 40 kindergarten children and 48 nursery children.

The kindergarten's opening hours are Monday – Friday from 06:45 – 17:00.

The administration for the integrated kindergarten falls under the Area Manager for Education, Daycare, Culture, Leisure, Business, and Labor Market, and the Pedagogical Coordinator provides advice and guidance for daycare institutions.

Applicant qualifications:

Pedagogical education or similar, be responsible, active, and engaged, have an overview, handle stressful situations, be flexible, accept changes, be cooperative, approachable, and stable.

Possess good physical and mental health, and be prepared to work according to the institution's goals, political objectives for children and youth, and other applicable rules for employees under Qeqqata Kommunia.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions will be according to the current agreement.

Housing is provided, with payment according to the prevailing rules.

Child certificate:

The position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has obtained a child certificate. Therefore, we must point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police.

Commencement on March 1, 2026, or by agreement.
