Educators or Childcare Assistants

In the daytime and at night, there are two caregivers or support staff in B-1443.

We are looking for two qualified caregivers for children in a well-functioning daycare in Qaqortoq, for ages 4 to 18. The start date is April 1, 2026, or by agreement.

Caregivers or social workers are needed in a residential setting for children that has recently been established, located in a large building in the center of the city. The facility is designed for up to five children. In this setting, children will be provided with a stimulating environment and clear boundaries, while also being given opportunities for personal development in a supportive adult presence. Communication and collaboration are emphasized in the work. We will operate based on the needs of the children and their acceptance. It is important for the children to feel respected, accepted, and understood.

No discrimination against children:

Applicants must be qualified as educators/social workers and be proficient in at least two languages to be highly competent.

Depending on the condition of the property, ownership circumstances, etc., the rent and the quality of the accommodation may vary. The accommodation must be vacated upon termination of employment. Employees may have to wait for a long time for accommodation, which means that temporary housing may be provided, including for smaller residential units or accommodations in guesthouses.
