We are based in Ilulissat by Disko Bay and the world-famous ice fjord. MISI Avannaa handles tasks within both the school and daycare sectors throughout Avannaata Kommunia, which is spread across 4 towns and 21 settlements. We are looking for a psychologist, preferably licensed, with several years of experience working with children with special needs. The right applicant finds it exciting to work in a system based on Greenlandic language and culture, and: • has knowledge of recent research and educational-psychological theories • has several years of experience working with children with special needs • is dynamic and development-oriented • has knowledge of educational psychological work with children and youth • is resilient and can work independently and flexibly with diverse tasks Employment is according to the agreement of June 28, 2019, between Naalakkersuisut and Ilinniartitsisut Meeqqat Atuarfianneersut Kattuffiat, IMAK for teachers in Greenland's public schools, etc. For applicants who are already civil servants, this form of employment can be continued.
