The integrated daycare institution Tikiusaaq is owned by Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq. It is located in a quiet environment by the football field and Inussivik.

Opening hours are 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The integrated daycare institution Tikiusaaq is designed for 96 children and is divided into 2 departments. In the nursery department, there are 36 children distributed across 3 rooms. In the kindergarten department, there are 60 children distributed across 3 rooms.

The staffing norm is 22; leader, deputy manager, department head, 4 educators, 6 social workers, 6 assistants, 1 kitchen assistant, 1 cleaning assistant, 1 kitchen/cleaning assistant, 1 kitchen staff member, 1 floater.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal record from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing:

Housing can be provided for the position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities, etc. will be paid according to the applicable rules for rent payment in the Greenland Self-Government and the municipality's properties in Greenland. If permanent housing cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, employees entitled to temporary housing will be offered temporary accommodation, for which rent, utilities, etc. will be paid in accordance with the above. The start date is dependent on when a staff housing is available. A relocation travel allowance and moving expenses for personal belongings are provided in accordance with applicable regulations.
