We are looking for an office assistant for the Bishop's Office's front office.
A position as an office assistant (pre-office) at the bishopric in Nuuk under the Government of Greenland is vacant and is to be filled by February 15, 2026, or by agreement. The application deadline is February 12, 2026.
The bishopric performs both ecclesiastical and administrative functions for Kalaallit Nunaanni Ilagiit (the Church in Greenland). The bishopric is the governing authority for the folk church, 3 deaneries, 17 parishes, about 250 employees, and nearly 200 elected parish representatives.
The bishop is the chief executive of the unit, and the staff consists, in addition to this, of a diocesan office manager, a training officer, a case-processing office manager, and the office assistant advertised in this office.
The tasks for the office assistant in the pre-office include, among other things:

Archiving

Journaling in collaboration with the case-handling office manager

Linguistic quality assurance (Greenlandic/Danish) for outgoing correspondence

Easier translation tasks

Internship in connection with various business trips (booking of tickets etc. for participants)

Responsible for the maintenance and updating of various databases, library, and inventory.

Responsible for the office's opening hours, central telephone service

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving, as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment with the Self-Government, the right to assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon the termination of the employment relationship.
