Nuussuup Atuarfia in Nuuk is looking for a teacher for Level 1.

About Nuussuup Atuarfia:

Nuussuup Atuarfia is a tiered school with 380 students in grades 1-10 and a dynamic, engaged, and stable teaching staff of 45 educators. The school has 17 regular classes and 5 special classes, where students perform very well academically.

The teacher's hours:

The teacher will be the class teacher for 3B, which has 24 students, and that teacher will also be responsible for these teaching hours in grade 1:

Danish, English, science, mathematics, local elections, physical education, and personal development

Criminal and Child Certificate:

The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal record from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

No staff housing can be provided for the position.
